While I (apart from a certain retro factor) don't really want to understand the usefulness of foldable smartphones, others are eagerly awaiting the first folding iPhone from Apple. How such a thing can look like has been shown on YouTube for some time. A video was uploaded to the channel 科技美学 (translated as "Technical Aesthetics"), in which the technical approach is explained in Chinese with English subtitles. The video serves as a kind of making-of for the "iPhone V" commercial on the KJMX channel. The iPhone V consists of parts of the iPhone X, a modern Pro camera system and the housing of the Motorola Razr.
Chapter in this post:
The iPhone V commercial from September 2022
Currently, the YouTube channel KJMX only has 12 subscribers, which is a bit surprising considering the professionally designed advertisement for the alleged iPhone V. This was uploaded on September 3, 2022, probably to fake a leak. The Apple-style clip could have made it appear that it was promoting a version of the iPhone 14. The fact that no one responded to this is shown by the number of current views: in over two months, the video has only recorded 237 clicks. you find it with this link or embedded in the following:
Foldable iPhone made from iPhone X, Pro cameras and Motorola Razr
While the fake advertising could have relied entirely on computer-generated images, it actually involves months of work with individual parts from various devices. This finally culminated in a feasibility study in the form of a video that received more than 388.000 views. The 17,5 minutes are worth it because you can use it to track the complete career and possible uses of the device. English subtitles can be activated for better understanding. I don't know if German subtitles will also be added. With this link or you can have a look in the following embedded player:

Hi John,
I'm all in your opinion. Out of interest, I looked at one from Samsung and tried something out. My little conclusion: Impractical, overpriced junk. The fiddly handling kills a nerve very quickly! I am of the opinion that foldable smartphones will disappear from the market again in a short time, regardless of which manufacturer.
Greetings to you and the team
