Environmental protection with the Apple iPhone Xs (Max)

According to Apple, the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max were developed and manufactured with environmental protection and sustainability in mind. The comparatively low impact on the environment should be achieved through the following points:

• Arsenic-free display glass
• Mercury-free display
• Free of bromine-based flame retardants
• PVC free
• Free from beryllium
• Recyclable stainless steel

In addition, the Apple Special Event on September 12, 2018 showed that recycled materials are also used in the new iPhone models. The logic board, for example, has recycled tin. In the case of the device, recycled and biologically produced plastic are also used.
